Easy Doll Room Tips

Did you know that you can make a doll room just about anywhere, using just about anything around your house?...OK, well maybe not just about anything, I mean you do have to take size under consideration.

But what I am trying to say is that you can have a fabulously looking dollhouse (or doll room, I should say) by just getting creative...Cough (....and buying some of our stuff) LOL, but no, seriously buy some of our stuff.... OK, back to my point... shoe boxes ( I prefer photo storage boxes that look like show boxes) make great looking beds...


... your personal jewelry box could be a dresser, old watches can be turned into wall clocks and small figurines easily become statues, and don't forget the artwork!... the possibilities are endless! It is all in the details and it does not have to be crazy priced... I mean have you seen some of the stuff they are selling on Etsy?! the prices?!

    1. She doesn't do how to's for stuff she sells on etsy, but here's how I make mine for anybody who wants to know. The bedding- cut two pieces of fabric a little larger than you want the blanket to be. The finished project looks better if you use two different fabrics that match. Then face them good side to good side and hot glue them together, leaving a small space unglued. Turn the bedding outside in so the good side faces out. Glue the hole shut, making sure that you can't see the edges of the fabric. The pillows- these are easy, they are very much like the previous tutorial. Cut two pieces of fabric a little larger than you want the pillow to be. The next step is exactly like the bedding one, but after that you need to stuff torn up cotton balls through the hole after you flip in outside in. MAKE SURE THAT WHEN YOU GLUE THE HOLE SHUT YOU CAN'T SEE THE EDGES! This next step is optional, but I noticed that Froggy does it to most of her pillows, so here it is. Thread a needle and poke it through the middle of your pillow. Pull tight, and go back to the other side. Repeat this a few times, then tie a knot and cut the extra string. Glue a tiny bead on either side of the thread. Happy Crafting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
